Herber has been leading construction projects throughout Madre de Dios for decades. He is an expert at building sustainable structures in the rainforest, and is in charge of all major construction at both the Khan ReWilding Center and our new research station. You will not find more innovative, impressive structures so deep in the jungle anywhere else -- all due to Herber's dedication and love for his craft. When Herber isn't harnessed onto a 20 meter tower, you'll find him fishing by the river or spending time with family.
