Manon Dorny is a dynamic veterinarian with experience in both domestic animals (horses, dogs) and wildlife. She got into veterinary medicine to support wildlife and make a difference for their future. During university, she started her journey in wildlife sciences via an internship in South Africa, then practiced for three years after vet school working with horses and small animals to gain clinical experience. In 2022, Manon decided to pursue wildlife-related veterinary positions and proceeded to work at two different rescue centers in Bolivia before coming to Hoja Nueva in 2023. Manon loves surgery (like most vets!) but if she's not in the clinic you'll find her in our laboratory studying the feces of our rescue animals or reading a good book!
