A journey into a rarely seen, often misunderstood world of extraordinary beauty, lush biodiversity and deep emotion, the documentary Wildcat follows the journey of an unlikely family unit: a traumatized veteran of the war in Afghanistan, a visionary scientist looking for sanctuary from her chaotic childhood, and an orphaned ocelot kitten with little chance of surviving without their help.
Directed by Melissa Lesh & Trevor Beck Frost. Produced by Melissa Lesh, Trevor Beck Frost, Alysa Nahmias, and Joshua Altman. Executive Producers for the film include our very own board member, Stephen Hall. An Amazon Studios Film.
Wildcat premiered at Telluride Film Festival on Friday September 2, 2022. Its international premieres were at Jackson Wild in Austria on September 26th, and at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), November 9-20.
The film will be in select theaters starting December 21st, and will be available on Amazon Prime December 30th. Check out the official film website!
